Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced finely minced

Tortilla Base

  • 4 large flour tortillas 8 to 10 inch size
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese about 100 g
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese about 25 g
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional for extra crispy edges

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 to 5 minutes to ensure even crisping.
  • 2. Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt until fully combined.
  • 3. Assemble the tortillas: Lay each tortilla flat and brush an even layer of garlic butter across the surface. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top, then add Parmesan. Lightly brush the edges with olive oil if desired for extra crispness.
  • 4. Air fry: Place one tortilla at a time in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
  • 5. Rest and slice: Remove carefully and let rest for 1 minute. Slice into wedges using a pizza cutter and serve warm.

Notes

Do not overload the tortilla with cheese or it may not crisp properly. For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas and reduce the butter by half. Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 2 to 3 minutes to restore crispiness. Avoid microwaving, as it softens the tortilla.
