These Bang Bang Salmon Bites are crispy, spicy-sweet, and air-fried to perfection. A quick and healthy dinner idea that doubles as a protein-packed meal prep option. Coated in a creamy homemade bang bang sauce, they’re perfect over rice, in lettuce wraps, or even as sliders. Easy, fast, and packed with flavor in every bite.

Ingredients
  

Salmon

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise can use light or regular
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Garnish

  • chives or green onions finely chopped
  • lemon wedges optional, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F while preparing the salmon.
  • In a large bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add salmon cubes and toss gently to coat.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey until smooth.
  • Set aside half of the sauce for later. Toss the salmon bites in the remaining sauce.
  • Place salmon pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 140 to 145°F.
  • Transfer to a plate, drizzle with the reserved sauce, and garnish with chives. Serve warm.

Notes

To bake instead of air fry, place salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 16 minutes, flipping halfway. Toss in sauce after baking to avoid burning.
