Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Air Fryer or Oven
  • Mixing bowl
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife

Ingredients

Spice Mix

  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Burger Bowls

  • 500 grams Lean Ground Beef about 1 pound
  • 2-3 medium Potatoes cut into wedges or chips
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil divided
  • 4 cups Shredded Lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheese regular or dairy free
  • 1/2 cup Pickle Slices

Special Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Pickle Juice from jar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F or oven to 200°C. Toss the cut potatoes with 1 tablespoon olive oil and half of the spice mix. Cook for 20 minutes in the air fryer or 30 to 40 minutes in the oven, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  • 2. Heat the remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the lean ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon. Once browned, stir in the remaining spice mix and cook until fully cooked and slightly caramelized.
  • 3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  • 4. Divide the crispy potatoes into four bowls. Add shredded lettuce, top with seasoned beef, cheese, and pickle slices. Drizzle with special sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lower carb option, replace potatoes with cauliflower rice or extra lettuce. Store components separately for meal prep and reheat potatoes in the air fryer to maintain crispness.
