Chicken
- 2 cups Cooked chicken breast, cubed Grilled, baked, or rotisserie
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil For heating chicken if needed
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Filling
- 4 cups Romaine lettuce, sliced Cut into thin ribbons and dried thoroughly
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing Adjust to taste
- 1/2 cup Freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Croutons Lightly crushed
Wrap
- 4 large Flour tortillas About 10 inches each
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cubed chicken, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes until heated through and lightly golden. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
Slice romaine lettuce into thin ribbons and dry thoroughly to prevent soggy wraps.
In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, romaine, parmesan, and croutons. Add Caesar dressing and toss gently until evenly coated. Avoid over mixing to keep texture intact.
Warm tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 20 seconds per side until soft and pliable.
Lay each tortilla flat. Spoon about three quarters cup of filling across the lower third. Fold the bottom edge up, fold in both sides, and roll tightly to seal.
Slice diagonally and serve immediately, or wrap tightly in parchment paper for later.
For meal prep, store chicken, lettuce, and dressing separately and assemble just before serving. To make a turkey Caesar wrap variation, substitute sliced roasted turkey for chicken. For extra crunch, use crispy chicken tenders instead of cubed chicken.
