- 2 cups cooked chicken shredded (about 2 chicken breasts)
- 4 cups frozen hashbrowns thawed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom for a variation
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions optional, for garnish
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese for topping
Prepare the ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, thawed hashbrowns, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
