- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Prepare the Chicken:
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Add cream cheese, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until smooth.
Combine and Cook:
Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and cover.
Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
