Ingredients
  

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 2 packages (8 oz) cream cheese, softened Make sure it is fully softened for a smooth filling.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 each egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Dough

  • 2 cans (8 oz) Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla, and mix until creamy. Set aside.
  • Spray a 9x13" pan with non-stick spray. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly on the bottom of the pan.
  • Unroll one can of dough onto a lightly floured piece of waxed paper. Press all the seams together and lift the dough into the pan on top of the cinnamon sugar. Press it to the edges of the pan.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  • Unroll the second can of dough and roll it out just like the first one. Place it on top of the cheesecake filling.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top of the dough.

Baking

  • Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes or until light brown.

Notes

Let the bars cool before slicing. They can be served warm or at room temperature. For an extra special touch, serve with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-5 days or freeze for longer storage.
