Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup chilled sparkling water club soda or seltzer
  • 3 tablespoons flavored syrup e.g., Torani, Monin – any flavor you like
  • Ice cubes enough to fill the glass
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons heavy cream or half-and-half for Italian Cream Soda
  • Optional: Whipped cream fruit slices, or mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Fill your glass with ice.
  • Use a tall glass and pack it with ice to keep the drink chilled and bubbly.
  • Add flavored syrup.
  • Pour 3 tablespoons of your chosen syrup over the ice. Adjust the amount to your taste.
  • Pour in sparkling water.
  • Slowly pour 1 cup of chilled sparkling water into the glass. Stir gently to combine without losing fizz.
  • (Optional) Make it creamy.
  • For an Italian Cream Soda, slowly pour 2 tablespoons of heavy cream or half-and-half over the top. Let it cascade for a beautiful layered look, then stir gently.
  • Garnish and serve.
  • Top with whipped cream or a slice of fruit if desired. Serve immediately with a straw or long spoon.
