- 1 lb lean beef flank steak, sirloin, or your preferred cut
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup bell peppers sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 small cucumber sliced
- 1 cup fresh lettuce leaves for wraps
- ½ avocado sliced
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Optional: Sriracha or hot sauce for extra heat
- Optional: 1 cup rice or quinoa for serving
Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub this marinade all over the beef and let it sit for 10–15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Prepare the Veggies:
While the beef is resting, slice the bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Set aside in a bowl.
Assemble the Dish:
Lay out fresh lettuce leaves on a platter. Add a few slices of beef to each leaf, then top with the fresh vegetables, avocado slices, and a sprinkle of cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for an extra burst of flavor.
